The National University of Singapore (NUS) College of Design and Engineering held a Gift Agreement Signing and Cheque Presentation Ceremony on 31st October 2025, marking yet another significant milestone in advancing educational support through philanthropy and community partnership.
The donation was made by The Masonic Charitable Fund (MCF) and Mr. Muthukrishnan Paradesi of Lion of Erin Lodge, in loving memory of Mrs. Krishnammal and Marimuthu Paradesi. The generous gift of $25,000, together with government matching, brings the total endowment to $62,500. This fund will establish an annual bursary to provide financial assistance to deserving students facing economic hardship, thereby enablin them to pursue their academic aspirations with dignity and peace of mind. This initiative represents the 20th endowment established by the Masonic Charitable Fund, reflecting its enduring commitment to education, opportunity, and service to the wider community. Through such contributions, MCF continues to uphold the Masonic principles of benevolence, relief, and the betterment of humanity.
