R W Bro Mahathir Mahzan
Mahathir was initiated into Freemasonry in January 2011 and installed as District Grand Master for and Grand Superintendent in and over the District of the Eastern Archipelago in June 2025.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, he is the Managing Partner of Mahzan Sulaiman PLT, a firm providing accountancy, outsourced CFO and business advisory services. Mahathir also serves on the Board of several public listed companies.
Mahathir holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University College London (UCL). Combining his analytical background with a strong sense of leadership and service, he brings both professional rigour and a deep commitment to the values of integrity, unity, and fellowship that define Freemasonry in the Eastern Archipelago.
